Speccy

I've found a new program that's really nice to have.  It's called Speccy (http://www.piriform.com/speccy).  Speccy's job is to scan your system and show you what all the hardware in your computer is.  For example, after scanning my computer (15-20 seconds) it brings up a list of all the hardware installed on my computer in specific (see below)

Speccy is really nice if you ever need to keep track of your hardware.  I ran into a situation a few days ago where my brother wanted to check what kind of processors his motherboard would run.  Well, he ended up buying the wrong one and wasting $35.  With Speccy, he'd have been able to scan his computer for the exact make and model of his motherboard, and used that information to buy a processor that fits.  Speccy itself is less that 5mb and is very simple to use, just open the program and it's all listed for you.
